I was able to set it on my pc aswell to play games using the helmet alone. That being the case, then AmCap is just using Directshow, and IS just a normal windows app, so hopefully other apps can access it too. I'm sure I remember using that with an old Hauppage WinTV PCI card many years ago, and again to test a Mustek cheapass digital camera with basic capture capability once. If these were installed correctly, wouldn't any app be able to pick it up? You can actually use PlayStation Eye on PC.
